Rev. Fr. Anthony Evangelatos
Fr. Anthony Evangelatos was born and raised in San Francisco, California. From his youth and into his adult life, Father was involved with various ministries at his home parish of the Annunciation Cathedral of San Francisco. Father has a background in Romance languages, having majored in Spanish and minored in business administration at the University of San Francisco. After teaching Spanish for a short time, he entered the field of banking in the San Francisco Bay Area, and worked in that industry for 10 years.
In 1990, Fr. Anthony met his future wife, Themmi Morikis. They married in 1991, and then moved to Boston, MA for Father to attend Holy Cross School of Theology. Upon completion of his studies he was sent back to his home Metropolis of San Francisco, and served two parishes there – St. Demetrios in Seattle, WA as assistant priest, and then as proistamenos of St. George in Eugene, OR.
In 2001 Fr. Anthony transferred into the Metropolis of Boston, in order to be close to the Boston hospital system for a family medical need. Father has served the parishes of St. Spyridon in Newport, RI, the Annunciation in Brockton, MA, and St. Athanasius in Arlington, MA.
Fr. Anthony and Presvytera Themmi have four children – Presvytera Nikoletta Livingston (married to Fr. Nicholas Livingston of St. Philip in Nashua), Andreas, Dimitri, and Sophia.
